More Information about the Scholastic Book FairsScholastic book fair is an exciting reading promotion event. It is organized in a school, for two or more days, along with book related activities for children, parents, and teachers.
In a Scholastic book fair, books are classified according to the reading levels and subject areas, and exhibited accordingly, on specially designed display racks. To expose children to the fascinating world of books, first one or two days of the fair are reserved for browsing, and students are invited in groups, class-wise.
Scholastic book fair also involves parents as before the event, an attractive, colorful brochure introducing select titles is sent home through children, encouraging parents to participate actively in their reading and learning process.
Scholastic school book fair also strengthens the school library by providing complimentary books.
